Dry Separation Systems
During spray painting, a loss of paint material cannot be completely avoided. Reliably capturing and disposing of this overspray requires the use of efficient technology. This is because the effective removal of paint mist from the air increases the long-term production reliability of painting systems. This creates long-term value stability.
Reliable overspray separation is crucial for process stability, air quality in the booth and for the cost-efficiency and environmental compatibility of the overall painting system. Dry separation in painting systems includes all systems for separating paint mist and particles from the process air. Overspray is removed in several filtration stages during spray painting.
Dry separation systems make it possible to remove excess paint material from the air without water and chemicals and with low energy consumption. Overspray that has been separated and bound in this way can be safely disposed of. Dry separation allows for efficient air flow recirculation, as the condensation stage is omitted.
Eisenmann develops and constructs reputable solutions for dry separation in industrial painting systems. The first modular E-Cube systems have been in production since 2015 and reliably remove overspray from the process air. The E-Cube system is characterized by a high separation efficiency, low operating costs and easy handling.
The E-Cube filter enables high separation rates and capacities thanks to its cubic, modular design and energy-efficient air flow systems. The E-Cube is a one-way filter and can be reused in its design as an E-Cube RE as a regenerable filter module. The E-Cube system can be integrated into new painting systems and during modernization of existing systems, and operated safely by means of reliable round-the-clock electronic monitoring. The filters of the E-Cube system can be changed during the painting process.
This means that the separation technology, which is individually tailored by Eisenmann, significantly contributes to a clean and sustainable coating process.
Dry separation is a key component of modern painting systems. Eisenmann does not develop separation systems as individual components but as an integrated part of the overall painting process. The aim is to reliably remove overspray and reduce operating costs while complying with environmental requirements and ensuring long-term production reliability through simple handling.
Dry separation refers to processes in which overspray and paint mist are removed from the process air without water.
Dry separation can reduce maintenance, energy consumption and disposal costs. Since no water is used in the process, there is no need for water treatment or consumption. The absence of water also reduces the risk of unwanted biotics.
Unlike water-powered systems, dry separation systems do not need to be treated with pesticides. Dry separation systems require no water or chemicals. This reduces operating costs, maintenance costs, environmental impact and disposal costs. In addition, dry filter systems are easier to maintain and can be flexibly integrated into existing systems.
Dry separation systems can be reasonably implemented in all wet paint applications in industrial paint plants.
Yes. Modern dry separation systems are modular and can be integrated into new systems or used to upgrade existing painting systems.
The E-Cube System is a two-stage dry separation system developed by Eisenmann for 24/7 operation. Either the disposable E-Cube or alternatively the regenerable RE-Cube can be used as the 1st filter stage. The 2nd filter stage consists of two integrated pocket filters in the standard version in F7.
Regenerable filter systems enable the reuse of filter material by means of thermal or mechanical cleaning. This saves resources and reduces operating costs.
The Eisenmann E-Cube system is suitable for all industrial wet painting processes with strict requirements for cleanliness, efficiency and environmental compatibility. It is used in applications in the metal, plastics and aluminum processing industry
