As Strategic Purchaser, I play a role in the development of a system by procuring the components needed piece by piece. In doing so, my job is characterized by constantly growing expertise and further development of our qualified supplier network for major trades, steel construction and assembly. It is particularly exciting when I keep the balls in the air as an interface to our partners directly on our construction sites in Europe. As part of a close-knit team, I benefit from short decision-making processes and respectful communication at eye level. In this way, we automatically work hand in hand towards our common goal – to deliver an optimal solution for our clients.

The complexity of our systems, which are several football pitches in size and several storeys high, is always breathtaking. No system, no location, no project is the same, which always presents us with new challenges. Together as a team, we find solutions and approaches that allow us to keep pushing the boundaries of what is supposedly technically possible. This also makes my work unique and makes it exciting and fulfilling every day.

After working in the Purchasing department for many years, I returned to the Eisenmann GmbH following a brief personal leave. I changed sides (professionally) and now take care of our clients in the Sales department. And I do this with my heart and soul! After a phase of extensive training, I was able to quickly get started in the new field thanks to my existing technical know-how and, of course, sure instincts in communicating with a wide variety of business partners. Always with the goal of getting the most out of what is possible for our clients, I enjoy a high degree of autonomy of decision and the benefits of a very independent way of working. In addition, I enjoy the freedom of working my flexible work hours – whether from home, on the go or in the office. Since communication within the company is very transparent at all levels, which creates mutual trust, and we maintain a respectful relationship with one another, I feel completely at home.

As a single point of contact, I do everything I can to develop customized solutions for my clients.

I benefit from a strong team of product and layout managers in which communication at eye level is a top priority.

In addition, individual strengths and ideas are valued at Eisenmann, regardless of position, and are seen as the basis for a creative and productive working environment.

My job offers me many opportunities for further development - whether through targeted training or constantly new and challenging projects - I really like that.

I also find the opportunity to travel and get to know new countries and cultures and make new contacts particularly exciting.

In my part-time job as a robot programmer, I appreciate the variety of tasks and the varied workplace design, both in the office and in the company's own technical center. Together with my colleagues, I work on a customer-specific automation solution, from the planning to the execution of the test setup in pre-assembly. The network meetings and regular exchanges with representatives of leading manufacturers are helpful, as they allow me to incorporate current market developments into customer concepts. I particularly appreciate the fact that my expertise is incorporated into strategic decisions and is valued.

I like working at Eisenmann because I can use my knowledge and skills in the areas of personnel development, coaching and health. I especially appreciate my great team, in which we not only work together effectively, but also laugh a lot and do activities together. The cross-departmental cooperation with many other nice colleagues makes the workday even more enjoyable. Eisenmann offers me the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally. Even as a young Boy Scout, the desire to travel and a practical approach were in my blood. South Africa, Brazil, USA, China - the magic of working in foreign countries, where other people go on vacation, is still with me and motivates me every day.

Each construction site has its own challenges. This is where all the planning and preparation work by the various project participants comes to the fore. Then you have to pull the strings, make spontaneous and very independent decisions and take the initiative. For me, it is very fulfilling to see the development of an empty factory building through to the start of production. And of course I'm looking forward to meeting up with my "construction site family" of co-creators that has grown over the years. They are my support far away from my family and friends.

Each new project is a journey that begins with an idea and ends with successful acceptance as a milestone. As an experienced project manager and part of a highly specialized team, I am involved in all phases and share responsibility for the successful, customer-oriented commissioning of our systems. Each phase brings its own challenges and exciting tasks. This allows me to constantly develop my own expertise and use it to the benefit of our customers. In particular, the reliable cooperation with the project teams and the accompanying exchange with the management strengthen my back. This allows me to keep a cool head and focus on the essentials, even under difficult project conditions.

My roots at Eisenmann are in dryer simulation for heavy workpieces. As Team Leader Sustainability & Simulation since 2023, I focus on sustainability and efficient resource management in paint shops. What particularly motivates me is the close cooperation in my team between young talents and experienced "old hands" on whom I can rely in every situation. We complement each other and learn from each other. This results in inspiration for new approaches, which are also actively supported by our management. As a result, we approach every new challenge and every demanding customer request with joy and composure. This makes our day-to-day work exciting and varied.
