Diving System

The E-Shuttle 200 consists of two freely programmable axes: a travel axis and a rotary axis. Thanks to the pendulum frame attached to the rotary axis, a flat and compact design of the system is possible, since the lifting axis is completely eliminated.

The shuttle conveyor is a system for simply lowering car bodies into various pretreatment baths. For this purpose, the bodies are lowered into the baths by the pendulum conveyors over inclined sections of the support rails and, after passing through the baths, lifted out of the baths again over corresponding inclined sections.

Dryer

Modern dryers are one of the decisive factors for the quality of the painting processes at automobile manufacturers and suppliers. Because besides the application of the paint, baking is a decisive factor for high-quality coatings. The processes are energy-intensive and offer enormous savings potential.

The Smart Oven shows its advantages with an excellent energy balance, low investment costs and high paint quality – and is an important component in the Smart Paint Shop. It gets by with fewer structures and heating technology than previous comparable concepts. The dryer is therefore more compact and lighter overall, so that it takes up less area and space and places less weight on the building. All these structural engineering measures are reflected in significant cost reductions of up to 18% for a Smart Oven. Due to the space-saving arrangement of the compact dryers that is now possible and the associated reduced space requirement, investments in the building sector are reduced by up to 5%.

The targeted guidance of the circulating air flow ensures optimum efficiency. A large proportion of the air is returned to the circuit after the moisture has condensed. The integrated control technology ensures individual adjustments to the required temperatures and adjusts the air flow speed accordingly, depending on the body. This ensures short process times and high throughput with constant, uniform drying.

PAINT SEPARATION

With the mechanical separation system E-Cube, the paint mist released during painting (overspray) is separated from the air thanks to sophisticated filter technology without any chemicals, water or other additives (such as binders). The energy- and resource-saving system is easy to use and can therefore be operated by anyone. It consists of 60 to 80 percent recycled material, which greatly simplifies storage and waste disposal. The cube-shaped separation modules can be stored in a space-saving manner and, when assembled, fit on a standard Euro pallet. Existing systems that have previously worked with other separation systems can easily be converted to E-Cube. E-Cube can be used anywhere in the wet paint area, such as in the automotive industry, the automotive supplier, commercial and agricultural vehicle industry or in the areas of wind power, plastic coating and general metal coating.

In the paint shop, electric monorail systems are particularly suitable for underbody protection lines. Our shuttles have their own landing gear controls. This means that, if required, car body type-dependent stopping positions and times can be implemented. Furthermore, the EMS is characterized by very precise stopping accuracy and extremely smooth running. The full potential is achieved in combination with an optional swivel hanger. This allows the body to be rotated on both sides by up to 110 ° in manual workplaces, which enables ergonomic work.

The future is skidless. The modular VarioLoc conveyor system revolutionizes conveyor technology in the paint shop, as it makes the use of heavy skids superfluous. The VarioLoc can move forwards and backwards, can curve and climb and can therefore be used extremely flexibly. Compared to conventional skid conveyor technology, the use of the VarioLoc can reduce investment costs by up to 38 percent. The halving of the necessary drives, a drastic reduction in the number of signal transmitters and the elimination of reading points all contribute to this. The offline maintenance concept also helps to reduce costs, as fewer maintenance accesses are required on the route. The servicing and maintenance of the locs takes place exclusively at maintenance stations that are decoupled from the route. This means that if maintenance is required, the entire system does not come to a standstill unnecessarily. Up to now, the heavy skids on which the bodies drive through the dryer had to be heated up and cooled down again each time during the drying process. With around 200 kilograms per skid, this is an enormous amount of energy. Since there are no skids with VarioLoc, up to 13 percent energy costs can be saved in the dryer area alone. Flexible capacity management is also easy to implement with VarioLoc, as the system can be expanded without major modifications and the Locs can be used anywhere.

The VarioMover is a driverless transport vehicle with an integrated lifting table. It drives under the bodies, lifts them and transports them to a defined destination. The VarioMover can optionally transport the bodies with or without a skid, because its length can be variably adjusted. It can take loads of up to 1,500 kilograms. Equipped with a camera and controlled by a master computer, the VarioMover finds its way to the destination at a speed of up to one meter per second via an optical lane guidance system. Barcode labels serve as position indicators. Existing routes can be used by the VarioMover and humans at the same time. The vehicle is equipped with a 360 degree protective field and automatically reduces its speed when obstacles approach. In this respect, it is safe for people in terms of collision protection.

The factory of the future knows no rigid procedures and processes – the goal is nothing less than series production with batch size 1. This requires intelligent, flexibly configurable conveyor systems that clear the way for the production of a wide variety of car bodies and vehicle models on one and the same system. With VarioStore, Eisenmann has developed a concept for a flexible, adaptable car body warehouse that makes large, expensive high-bay warehouses a thing of the past. VarioStore is an area storage system that offers the greatest possible flexibility when relocating space and changing capacity by breaking with the concept of the rigid conveyor systems that have been used up to now. As a result, any free areas and area blanks can be used as storage, such as hall roofs. This is realized through the use of the driverless transport system VarioStore. If the customer decides to use VarioStore in an existing space, investment cost savings of up to 61 percent can be achieved. The reason for this is the omission of the complete storage block, the storage and retrieval machines and the conveyor technology in the front of the rack compared to the use of a high-bay warehouse.

Spray booth

Eisenmann spray booths are tailored precisely to the requirements of the customer. From the supply air system to the plenum to the actual housing, all components are planned, designed and manufactured from a single source. The construction of the cabin meets the highest quality standards. Cables and pipes are integrated into the frame of the cabin modules. This keeps the inside of the cabs smooth and easy to clean. Illuminants are easily accessible from outside the cabin.
