Vario Shuttle v.4
At Eisenmann, the story of success of the dip coating systems with PLC started with the Vario Shuttle in 2000. Numerous customers of the automotive industry have already been using this technology for years. With the current version 4, we have increased system availability and integrated additional functions. VarioShuttle integrates seamlessly into existing plants.
Pretreatment is the prelude to any coating process. A clean and corrosion-resistant surface is a mandatory basis for flawless coating. In the pretreatment plant, first all the impurities and residues from upstream processes must be removed from the workpiece surface.
Among others, these are corrosion inhibition oil, drawing greases or welding and adhesive residues from the body shop, for example. Subsequently, the first corrosion protection is applied to the car bodies that have been cleaned in a wet chemical process.
In the EC plant, the still damageable car bodies get their first coating. In this electrochemical process, the particles in the water-based dip paint are deposited on the car body that acts as the cathode. As soon as the EC paint has cured thermally, the car bodies have been imparted their most important corrosion protection. With our products such as the E-Shuttle and the round dialysis cells, we provide you with EC plants tailored to your requirements.
Round Dialysis Cells
Round dialysis cells are indispensable for an optimum high-grade EC process. They keep up an anolyte circuit to withdraw the paint bath acid that is continuously generated at the anodes. This guarantees utmost coating quality due to the optimum arrangement of the electric fields - and thus a more homogeneous coating. Round dialysis cells can be retrofitted at any time and default equipment of our EC plants.
Overspray particles are released into the air during painting. Using an intelligent filtration method, E-Cube removes overspray from the air without the need for chemicals, water or other additives (such as binding agents). The energy and resource efficient system is simple to use and can be operated by unskilled staff. It is made from 60 to 80 per cent recycled material, simplifying both storage and disposal. E-Cube is suitable for use in plants of all sizes, and can easily be retrofitted to existing systems.
E-Cube can be used in any wet paint application, for example by automakers, automotive suppliers and by manufacturers of commercial and agricultural vehicles. Other areas of application include wind power, plastics coating, and metal finishing.

The Eisenmann E-Scrub technology is the green lung in the paint shop. The electrostatic separator ensures a very low percentage of remaining particles in the exhaust air and guarantees extremely low operating costs at the same time. With E-Scrub we are persistently true to our philosophy of providing environmentally-friendly and sustainable coating processes.
Eisenmann spray booths are tailored accurately to each customer's requirements. From the supply air system to the plenum right up to the actual housing: all the components are planned, designed and manufactured by one source. The booth design meets highest quality standards. Cables and pipework are integrated into the fames of the booth modules. In this way, the inner booth surfaces stay smooth and easy to clean. Lamps are positioned outside the booth and are convenient to access.
The workstation concept of Eisenmann offers the appropriate solution for every application. From the open "audit" workstation to the closed spot-repair booth: we plan and implement all the workstations according to their functions in dialog with you. Our design engineers use their long-standing versatile experience to your benefit.
Ovens are generally the last stage of any coating process. Convection ovens or infrared (IR) radiation ovens can be used for the drying or curing process. The design of the ovens are adapted to the material-specific curing characteristics. This includes the necessity to break new grounds such as the use of UV technology.
The aircraft industry is another important clientele of Eisenmann. Here, corrosion protection and appearance also play an important part. Large components as well as complete aircrafts are coated in our large-capacity booths.
State-of-the-art aircraft construction is getting more and more sophisticated, the use of composite materials is increasing. Thus, the use of new activating processes prior to coating is also becoming more frequent. As a systems supplier, we therefore incorporate alternative processes such as laser technology into our large-capacity booths in addition to the traditional sanding processes.
Our flexible large-capacity booths are also used in other branches of industry.
