An overview of boiler configurations for different types of biomass such as wood, ag waste, sludge or other solid byproducts or wastes. Learn guidelines for dealing with moisture and ash content and the “Rules of Thumb” for selecting and sizing combustion and boiler components.
- Fuel and Ash Handling
A primer on the available types of solid-fuel feed and ash-handling systems. Learn guidelines and suggestions on how to select them and how to ensure reliable, low maintenance operation.
- Fan Selection
A guide to the selection and design of combustion-air and exhaust fans. Learn which configurations, features and preventive maintenance procedures insure long life and reliable operation.
